History of
Ching's Table

Opening in 1998, Ching's Table, tucked away in the tranquil village of New Canaan, has
since drawn crowds from all over Connecticut and New York. Writes Elise Maclay of
Connecticut Magazine, Ching's Table is, "A treasury of Asian cuisine in New Canaan.
No passport needed. Ching's is a
sister restaurant of Sushi 25 also in New Canaan, Hunan Cafe in Wilton, Wild Ginger
in Ridgefield, and Penang Grill in Greenwich. The
restaurants are all owned by Alan and Jing Lee who got their start almost twenty years ago
co-owning a small eatery in Park Slope Brooklyn. They are veterans of the restaurant
business. Each of the restaurants reflects Alan's idea to make sure the interior design
always reflects the menu.
